Top Vendors by Category (via FPDS / FPDSplus)

TOP OTSBs (DHS, last 5 years)

Over the past five years, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has directed the vast majority of its spending in the category of Other Computer Related Services to a single vendor: Accenture Federal Services LLC. With total action obligations reaching approximately $476.8 million, Accenture has emerged as the clear leader among Other Than Small Business (OTSB) contractors supporting DHS in this space.

In contrast, the remaining vendors secured significantly smaller portions of the market. Highlight Technologies, Inc. followed distantly with around $20.3 million in obligations, while Sierra Nevada Company, LLC and BlueWater Federal Solutions, Inc. each received less than $5 million. Other vendors such as Aurora Systems Consulting Inc. and American Telecom Solutions, L.L.C. were awarded even smaller amounts, indicating limited contract activity in comparison.

This distribution highlights a highly concentrated contracting environment where a single firm—Accenture—has captured the overwhelming share of obligations, while other vendors have maintained only a minimal footprint in DHS’s IT services landscape within this NAICS code.

TOP VENDORS with $10M to $50M contracts at DHS

This chart presents a narrative overview of the top vendors with prime contracts valued between $10 million and $50 million under the category of "Other Computer Related Services" (NAICS) at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It identifies 20 vendors based on their total action obligations, which represent the cumulative value of their awarded prime contracts within the specified range.

Among these vendors, AKIRA Technologies Inc. stands out with total obligations exceeding $530 million. Although this amount is well above the specified $50 million maximum, it may reflect cumulative awards across different reporting periods or contract structures. Following AKIRA Technologies are Dell Federal Systems L.P. and FCN Inc., with $337.3 million and $298.1 million in total action obligations, respectively. Blue Tech Inc. and Four Points Technology LLC also show strong performance with $284.0 million and $239.7 million in contract values.

The middle tier of vendors includes organizations such as CACI NSS LLC, Leidos Inc., and GOVPLACE Inc., each securing between approximately $145 million and $177 million. On the lower end of the chart are vendors like ITCON Services LLC, Alvarez LLC, and Carahsoft Technology Corp, with obligations just above the $10 million threshold.

Overall, the data reflects a diverse set of companies with active engagements under DHS prime contracts. These vendors demonstrate proven capacity in delivering computer-related services to a federal client, making them potential candidates for teaming partnerships based on experience, scale, and capability within this NAICS classification.

TOP SB VENDORS at DHS over the last five years

Over the past five years, several small businesses have emerged as key players in delivering computer-related services to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This chart provides a breakdown of the top 20 small business vendors under the NAICS category for "Other Computer Related Services," ranked by total action obligations—representing the total value of federal contracts awarded to them during this period.

At the top of the list is GOVPLACE, INC., with over $407 million in total obligations, making it the most successful small business vendor for DHS in this category. Close behind is AKIRA Technologies Inc., which secured approximately $356 million in contracts, underscoring its strong track record and ongoing partnerships with the agency.

ITCON Services LLC follows in third place, with around $171 million in awarded obligations, while FS Partners LLP and SNAP Inc. round out the top five, earning $165 million and $97 million, respectively. These companies have demonstrated both capability and reliability in supporting DHS missions through IT and related services.

Other noteworthy vendors include V3Gate LLC, Savantage Financial Services, and V3 Gate Team LLP, each with obligations ranging from $50 million to $84 million. The remaining vendors on the list, such as MHM Innovations, Total Systems Technologies Corporation, and Stella JV LLC, also reflect strong federal contracting experience, with awards ranging between $30 million and $50 million.

Overall, this data highlights a competitive field of small businesses that have not only met the technical and compliance requirements of DHS contracts but have also established themselves as trusted service providers over multiple years. Their success positions them as valuable teaming partners or benchmarks for other small businesses seeking to enter or expand within the federal IT services space.
