EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The ASCEND BPA will provide federal agencies with a streamlined acquisition path to procure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions from FedRAMP-authorized commercial cloud providers. Managed by GSA, ASCEND is expected to become a cornerstone vehicle for secure, scalable cloud adoption across the federal government.
The BPA will support cloud adoption for data storage, compute, networking, security, automation, and analytics aligned with the Federal Cloud Computing Strategy and OMB’s Cloud Smart Policy.
